TNF Campers Indonesia was founded in 2019 by mountain guides who saw an opportunity to build a proper camping culture in Indonesia. We're an independent community — not affiliated with any official The North Face Indonesia distributor.

Our Story

From a shared love of the trail, into an independent community.

2019

Founded in Jakarta

Bangun Prayitno and Jemmi Muharman, both with mountain-guiding backgrounds, founded TNF Campers Indonesia as an independent camping community the same year.

Early Days

Camping, Built for Fellow Enthusiasts

What started as informal camping trips among friends who shared a love for outdoor gear grew into something bigger, as the community expanded into travel packages, events, and merchandise.

Ongoing

Camping Every Two Months

Regular community camping trips are held roughly every two months, to keep members close and give everyone a regular dose of nature.

Annual

Hura Hura Fest

An annual anniversary festival with fun camp activities, games, live music, and a fashion show — a different theme every year.
